Addressing an open Katchery at Hajia Gali Tehsil Havelian, he said that district government should apprise itself about issues and problems of people.
He also directed concerned authorities to resolve the problems of Hajia people relating to health, education, communication, clean drinking water and revenue and informed the complainants that authorities would be informed about the issues and concerns.
He also directed authorities to hold open katchries in the remote and far flung hilly areas of district Abbottabad aiming facilitation of people at their door step.
National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued new policy for obtaining Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) and other documents
According to details, Birth certificate condition has been abolished for new CNIC and B-Form. Now CNIC could be obtained with provision of Matric certificate, copy of passport or domicile, it further said. Moreover, the condition to get the affidavit attested from a Grade-17 officer has also been removed as CNIC holder father, bother or any family member could attest the form.
Copy of Matric Certificate, passport, domicile and parents CNICs were mandatory for obtaining CNIC, it said.
Moreover, there would be no need of the marriage certificate to get the wife’s CNIC adding it could be get by submitting husband CNIC and a Rs 20 affidavit.
The resident of erstwhile could obtain their CNICs from anywhere in the country. Now there would also no need of registering FIR for getting new CINC, in case of losing it. New CNIC could be obtained through submitting an undertaking on stamp paper about loss of the card. Now there would also be no need to give advertisement in the newspapers for changing name. NADRA officer would simply conduct interview and would record his/her comments.
Meanwhile, NADRA has also abolished attestation authority of former and new chairmen and councilors for obtaining CNIC.
The fresh monsoon spell continued pouring in Tharparkar on Thursday while one woman, and over 40 livestock animals killed as lightning struck at different villages of the district leaving three more women injured.
According to details rain thunderstorm continued at scattered places in the south eastern district of Sindh comprised mainly of desert area.
A number of lightning bolts were reported from various areas as well.
A woman, Koanri wife of Chhuggan Meghwar, died in lighting strike at village Misri Shah of tahsil Nangarparkar while three other women Rano, Indra and Ravina got critically injured.
At another village, Vanko Bheel, 21 goats and a camel struck with lightning bolt and died. At village Bhoorelo 21 goats perished by lightning. Numerous incidents of lightning and thunder bolt spread panic among the local population.
Two Policemen were arrested on Thursday for harassing and taking bribe from citizens on Shaheed Millat Road.
They were arrested and a case against both was registered at Bahadurabad Police Station on the directives of Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Karachi Ghulam Nabi Memon, said a statement.
AIGP-Karachi Ghulam Nabi Memon had advised the citizens to report to him on his Whatsapp No. 03435142770, if they find any cop harassing or taking bribe from citizens while patrolling on foot or on motorbike, police mobile or during picketing.
He warned the police officers and personnel of strict departmental action in case of negligence, abuse of power and any other illegalactivity.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was giving priority to the health sector and would construct nine hospitals in the province soon to provide modern medical facilities to the people.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the construction of new hospitals would increase 9000 beds in Punjab to give free medical treatment to the patients.
He said the first time in history of the country, Health Card had been launched in 28 districts of the province with an aim to provide free medical treatment and medicines to the poor masses.
The chief minister said the provincial government was making hectic efforts to eradicate polio, aids and dengue virus as some dengue cases had been reported in Rawalpindi.
“We would upgrade the emergency of the hospitals.” He said Prime Minister Imran Khan had directed all concerned to provide speedy justice and alleviate inflation to give relief to the masses.
Replying to a question, he said high standard universities would be established in all districts of Punjab to provide quality education to the students while technical universities would also be constructed in that regard.
Replying to another question, he said efforts were being made to introduce reforms in police department, adding the appointments of all police officers were being made on merit to control criminal activities in the province.
